Our Mission
To effectively respond to community’s need through caring for the disadvantaged with the aim of enlightening the communities and empowerment by giving them hope and transforming their lives.
Our Vision
To continue assisting the needy people and children who need Education, care and especially the HIV\AIDS victims.
OBJECTIVES
To educate, feed as well as offer life skills and psychological services to orphans, neglected, abused and abandoned children, to empower girls through income generating projects for them to have a better future.
Registered as a non – governmental organization under the NGO act in the year 2000, and as Ministry of labour social Security services in year 2004.
ACHIEVEMENTS
In the 2019, National Exams (KCPE), two top boys scored 378 marks. Out of 48 Candidates who sat for their KCPE, 25 candidates scored over 300 marks. Our mean score was 289 marks.
In the 2018, National Exams (KCPE), our first top boys scored 392 marks. Out of 43 Candidates who sat for their KCPE, 30 candidates scored over 300 marks. Our mean score was 310.14 marks.
Josephine Mumo was awarded by United Nations in Kenya in 2007 for her leadership and commitment in the difficult circumstances of Kibera.
Josephine Mumo presented with a souvenir by the United States of America Under-Secretary Mr. Tom Vilsack.
In 2018 Josephine Mumo completed a training for NLP as a business practioner.
In 2009 Josephine attended a summit in Itally on “No Child goes hungry by 2015“
In 2015 Farida Kamene, Mariam Abdul and Josephine Mumo were awarded by Childslife International, Yearly Appreciation. Reads “We make a living with what we get but we make a life by what we give“
